Hi, I’m Sarah, the Nursery Manager at Old Crofts Bank. I’m proud to lead a highly experienced and passionate team—many of whom have been with us for over 10 years and hold advanced qualifications and specialist training. Together, we create a warm, nurturing environment where our children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
Our nursery is a true home from home, filled with natural resources that spark curiosity and wonder. Each room is carefully designed to meet the developmental needs of our babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, and our spaces are continually adapted based on the children’s evolving interests.
One of our standout features is our beautiful, tranquil garden, which offers endless opportunities for imaginative play, exploration, and calm connection with nature. Indoors and outdoors, our children are supported to learn at their own pace and in ways that suit them best.
Mealtimes are a social and meaningful part of the day, with our children enjoying healthy meals in small groups—and even helping with serving, promoting independence and a sense of responsibility.
About you
You have exceptionally high standards and take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments. You have a proactive approach to cleaning, enjoy rolling up your sleeves, and are dedicated to providing excellent care and service. Your enthusiasm and compassion ensure that those you support feel cared for and proud of the environment they work in.
What you'll be doing
As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting. Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and well cared for. Your role will involve managing cleaning materials and supplies, in line with health and safety guidelines, following the latest child protection and health and safety legislation.
You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with quickly, effectively and safely.
