Nursery: Children 1st Newark Nursery School, Muskham Road, Newark NG24 1DP

Hours: Part time hours 20, Monday-Friday 10am till 2pm

Qualification: Must hold a Level 2 or above in childcare

As a Lunchtime Assistant, you will be a key part of keeping our children safe, loved, and inspired to learn. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising children during lunchtime, ensuring they are seated safely
  • Encouraging children to eat independently and try different foods
  • Ensuring children follow hygiene routines, including washing hands
  • Assisting children who need help with eating or managing their meals
  • Helping tidy up after lunch and ensuring the dining area is clean
  • Supporting children in transitioning to their next activity after lunchtime

Requirements:

  • An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
  • Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings

You’ll be joining the Newark Nursery team, who have an incredibly important job of supporting children’s development.
