Not your standard Nursery role… and that’s exactly the point. Our nursery school is a truly special place to learn and play. We’re proud to be the UK’s first yurt-based outdoor nursery, nestled within a two-acre site surrounded by the fields and animals of Sparsholt College. Our children spend much of their time (whatever the weather) exploring the great outdoors; our cosy yurts provide a calm and nurturing space—designed with natural acoustics, a soothing sensory atmosphere, and insulated with sheep’s wool to stay warm and welcoming throughout the winter months.

At Farley Sparsholt, we encourage our children to be curious, imaginative, and confident learners in a setting where nature is their classroom. Our days are filled with hands-on experiences that spark curiosity—from bug hunts and woodland adventures to growing our own seasonal vegetables. We believe that outdoor learning inspires not only a love for the natural world but also a lifelong love of learning.

As an Early Years Teacher you will be a key part of keeping our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Responsibilities include:

  • Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
  • Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
  • Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

Requirements:

  • A true love for child development and care
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents
  • High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity
  • Early Years qualification at Level 3 and above
  • QTS
  • Experience working with all age groups within Early Years

For you:

  • Enhanced holidays, paid sick pay, extra wellness day off (yearly) and accessing your pay before payday with PayCaptain
  • Childcare Discount + Funding, compassionate leave & enhanced maternity (and more), fertility & menopause support, gym discount, free movie tickets and more
  • Investing in your future: Micro-learning, financial stability tools & Storal Support Fund
  • Growing together: Termly inset days, team app & Storal Awards gathering

We pay for your DBS upfront along with reimbursing your annual update service charge. Storal is committed to the highest standards when it comes to safeguarding, the welfare of children and creating a work environment that encourages feedback, discussion, and resilience. We take our role in the safety of children, our families and our team extremely seriously.
