Location - Children 1st Newark Nursery School, Muskham Road, Newark NG24 1DP
Salary - £12.71ph to £13.30ph (Salary will depend on experience and qualifications)
Hours to be discussed, ideally looking for 8 hours a day, 24 - 40 hours per week.
Qualification - Ideally hold a level 2 or above in Childcare; can consider unqualified with experience.

How you’ll spend your time here:
- You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed. This could be for periods of holiday, sickness, or even vacancy gaps.
- You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan, but pivoting when circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!
- Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games.
- It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged.
We’d love to talk to you if you have the following:
- Ideally a Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar.
- You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children.
- You have a natural, nurturing openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.
- Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
