About our Nursery
Archway Nursery is set in a peaceful rural location yet just minutes from Blandford Forum. Our nursery offers the best of both worlds — fresh countryside air with easy access to town. Where staff and children enjoy an exceptionally large outdoor space that includes a dedicated forest school garden, a spacious main garden, and an all-weather AstroTurf area for active play year-round. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, friendly atmosphere where staff feel genuinely valued and supported, making it a welcoming place to work.
The Team
You’ll be joining Archway’s Nursery team, who have an incredibly important job of supporting children’s development. You’ll be a key part of every child’s journey, keeping our children safe, loved and inspired through play based learning.
How you’ll spend your time here
You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily. Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments. You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.
We’d love to talk to you if you have the following
- An Early Years qualification at Level 3
- Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
