My client is a UK-based manufacturer and retailer of domestic storage batteries, helping households reduce their carbon footprint and energy bills. Founded in 2014, the company employs 26 people and has offices in North London.
THE ROLE
As Head of Sales and Marketing, you will develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition and retention across consumer and installer channels. You will lead a small sales team (both office-based and remote), drive lead generation, manage digital marketing campaigns, build strategic partnerships, and promote brand adoption in UK homes and businesses. This is a hands-on leadership role suitable for a strategic thinker comfortable executing campaigns, closing deals, and delivering measurable results. Immediate start on a contract basis.
YOU
- Proven senior sales and marketing experience, ideally in a high-growth or scale-up environment.
- Strong B2B experience with a record of developing partnerships and trade growth.
- Experience managing small teams, including remote sales staff.
- Hands-on experience with paid lead generation campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).
- Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM systems for automation.
- Highly organized, analytical, with data-driven decision-making skills.
- Interest in renewable energy, clean tech, or sustainability is advantageous.
- Available to start within 4 weeks; not on a long notice period.
Must be fluent in English and authorized to work in the UK.
