Public Relations Executive – Consumer Marketing (Travel Industry) Location: London Hybrid | Contract Type: 12 Mths FTC

Are you passionate about PR, love storytelling, and want to make an impact on campaigns that reach millions of people across the UK? We’re looking for a dynamic PR Executive to join the Marketing team and help promote the value of rail travel to consumers nationwide.
As part of a high-performing, purpose-driven team, you\’ll support the planning, execution and evaluation of national PR campaigns and press office activity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist the Consumer PR Manager in developing and delivering annual PR plans for national campaigns and key marketing projects.
- Research and craft compelling press releases, feature content, campaign emails, internal comms, Q&As and briefing materials.
- Support the press office by handling media enquiries
- Build and nurture strong relationships with consumer media and actively pitch stories
- Help deliver engaging PR activations—collaborating with internal teams and agencies
What We’re Looking For
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a flair for creating engaging content.
- Confidence in working with media and pitching stories.
- Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A collaborative team player who’s proactive, curious and adaptable.
- Previous experience in a PR, communications, or marketing role (agency or in-house) is ideal, but not essential.
