The predicted salary is between 23000 - 25000 Β£ per year.
The partnership model is a first of its kind for Buckinghamshire. It's a partnership between Amersham School and Stony Dean School, both schools are successful in their own rights and are looking to offer something different for the pupils of Buckinghamshire. The pupils on the Partnership model will have an EHCP and will require a level of support to access a mainstream school. Learners will be fully included in lessons in the Amersham School. The Partnership Learning Support Assistant will provide the support to overcome and remove barriers to learning to make it successful.
Responsibilities
- Support the social, emotional and learning needs of individual pupils identified on the partnership model.
- Work in collaboration with the Partnership model teacher and teachers from Amersham School to provide individual support and strategies for students with a range of SEN.
- Enhance the learning experience of a small group of students in a classroom setting.
- Lead small group activities as required.
- Provide support to overcome and remove barriers to learning.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and inspirational character.
- Experience of working with SEN (ASD, MLD, ADD/ADHD, etc.).
- IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite and learning technologies.
- Degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, Linguistics) desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to equality and care for children.
- Valid Enhanced DBS check required.
