We are working with a creatively led B2B marketing agency based in Central London. Well known for their "top of the funnel" strategic campaigns, they have twice been named agency of the year and recognised by the IPA for their effectiveness. They work with a mix of well-known clients across professional services, technology, consumer electronics and automotive. Their in-house data and media capabilities give them the unique ability to see campaigns through from planning to delivery and optimisation; more efficiently and effectively than their competitors.
The agency is now investing for its next stage of growth, which is where you come in...
This role is about far more than running campaigns. It’s about shaping media strategy, elevating performance, and acting as a senior, trusted advisor to ambitious B2B clients. You’ll sit at the heart of the media function, working closely with creative, client service and leadership teams to deliver joined-up media that stands up commercially and strategically. In short: this is a vital role reporting directly to the Head of Media.
What you’ll be doing
- Translating media strategy into best-in-class activation and measurable performance
- Overseeing and optimising activity across paid social (Meta, LinkedIn), PPC, DSPs, TikTok and emerging channels
- Owning the performance story — turning data into insight clients actually care about
- Managing budgets, pacing and forecasting across live campaigns
- Leading reporting across weekly, monthly and QBR cadences, always tied back to business objectives
- Acting as the senior media voice on client calls, confidently answering, advising and challenging
- Supporting the Head of Media on planning, forecasting, pitches and growth initiatives
This role is about leadership and ownership, not just delivery. That means you’ll be expected to:
- Develop and lead the media team
- Shape media vision and direction for clients, not just execute briefs
- Identify opportunities for innovation, growth and new ways of working
- Play an active role in new business and pitch environments
- Represent the agency through thought leadership, events and industry presence
- Take responsibility for media profitability, ROI and risk
What they’re looking for
- Strong B2B paid media and performance strategy experience
- Confidence managing senior client relationships and influencing stakeholders
- A commercial mindset, grasp of budgets, margins and growth
- A leadership style that develops people, not just manages them
- Curiosity, bravery and a healthy discomfort with “how it’s always been done”
What’s in it for you?
In addition to the salary and bonus scheme, you can expect a great range of benefits, including:
- 25 days' annual leave
- Monthly creative allowance
- Investment in personal learning and development
- Subsidised gym membership
- Flexible, hybrid working arrangements
- Free mattress upgrade
