Midweight Creative Designer | Retail Displays & Experiential Design

Please note, this is not a graphic design role, it is for concept design of 3D retail furniture and POS/POP displays. Are you a creative thinker with a passion for bringing brands to life through innovative retail environments and display solutions? We're partnering with a leading retail display and shopper marketing business looking for a Midweight Creative Designer to join their growing design team. This is an opportunity to work on exciting projects for major retail and consumer brands, creating engaging in-store experiences, POS, POP and retail furniture concepts that capture attention and drive customer engagement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing innovative retail display, POS and retail furniture concepts from initial brief through to launch
  • Translating brand identities and campaign objectives into compelling three-dimensional design solutions
  • Creating visualisations and presentations to communicate creative ideas internally and to clients
  • Collaborating with engineering, prototyping and manufacturing teams to ensure concepts are commercially viable and production-ready
  • Staying ahead of trends in materials, sustainability and retail experience design

What we're looking for:

  • 2-3+ years' experience within retail display, POS/POP, retail furniture or experiential design
  • Strong conceptual development skills with the ability to challenge briefs and think creatively
  • Experience using SolidWorks, PhotoView 360, SolidWorks Visualize and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and production considerations
  • Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to haves:

  • Hand sketching ability
  • Strong knowledge of retail display materials and manufacturing techniques
  • Passion for sustainable design and environmentally conscious solutions
