Our client is a leading independent insight consultancy that blends curiosity, creativity and data to help some of the UK’s most exciting brands stay ahead of the curve.
They’re now looking for an Associate Director who can bring analytical excellence, commercial sharpness, and a passion for turning insight into business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead diverse, high-profile ad hoc projects across sectors including retail, FMCG, tech and lifestyle
- Shape proposals and research design to ensure each project delivers real strategic value
- Deliver story led insights that help clients make confident, evidence based business decisions
- Guide clients through a wide range of challenges, from brand innovation and development to communications and concept testing
- Use advanced and creative quantitative techniques such as MaxDiff, conjoint and segmentation to uncover meaningful patterns and priorities
- Get hands on with the thinking, digging deep into consumer behaviour and turning understanding into action
Qualifications
- Deep experience in quantitative ad hoc research, not trackers
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills, able to turn numbers into meaning
- Client facing confidence, comfortable advising and challenging senior stakeholders
- Some understanding of the UK retail and FMCG landscape
- Ideally, previous experience in a leading strategic insight agency environment (e.g. those with a strong ad hoc or brand consultancy focus)
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work in the office at least 3 days a week
