Motion Graphics Designer | Events Design Agency Oxfordshire | £35k – £40k This is an incredibly exciting role for anyone with a keen interest in the Formula 1 space; it’s a chance for you to work on design projects to be seen all over the world, and the best part – the opportunity to travel to 10 of the races in the calendar. You’d be joining a global company with offices in Malaysia, Mexico, Germany, Bahrain and the UK. They’re tasked with producing an array of advertising material for these world-renowned events. They design paddock entrances, podiums, car wraps, trackside LED imagery and over-track advertising. Motion Graphis play a big part in their engaging displays, think of the podiums and all of the static brand advertising, there’s also LED screen with lots of moving imagery to enhance the visual feel. Having a keen interest in the F1 space isn’t a prerequisite but would be helpful. Alongside this keenness, they’re looking for someone who has come from a standard design background but is a top-drawer Motion Graphics Designer and if you had experience in 3D rendering you’d be leading the race. The offices are based in South East Oxfordshire, just off the M40/A40 and due to their collaborative nature you’d need to be able to get to the office 5 days a week. You’d have the opportunity for extensive travel from Monday to Monday 10 or so times a year where you’d be working on the race site, and obliviously there’d be weekend work. You’d get plenty of days off in lieu due to the busy schedule. On the salary front they’re offering up to £40k, which when combined with the chance to travel is a great combination. Without wanting to put potential candidates off, this role isn’t for the faint-hearted due to the travel and sometimes obscure hours – but my word it’d be rewarding to have a hand in every race in the F1 calendar. If you think you’re cut out for it, then send over a CV and showreel/folio demonstrating your design prowess.
