Role: Systematic Family Therapist

Salary: Up to £51,000.

Location: West Sussex

A fantastic private clinic in West Sussex is looking for an experienced Family Therapist to join their expanding team.

Main Duties:

  • Provide highly-skilled systemic interventions for the families of young people with severe, complex and persistent mental health problems, learning difficulties and/or developmental problems.
  • Provide in-depth risk-assessments of young people who are at risk to themselves and to be able to formulate both short-term and long-term crisis planning.
  • Manage a complex caseload as the family therapist working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Regularly monitor clinical progress through reviews of systemic treatment.
  • Successfully contribute to developments within the Therapies Team and wider service.

Requirements:

  • Completed a qualifying course in Systemic Psychotherapy at Master’s or doctorate level, accredited by the AFT.
  • All applications must have a formal Family Therapist qualification.
  • Registration with UKCP
  • Experience working with adolescents and their families presenting with complex mental health needs.
