Role: Band 6 Rotational Radiographer

Location: Essex

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience)

Our client, a private hospital in Essex, is looking for a Band 6 Radiographer committed to delivering exceptional patient care to join its team.

Requirements:

  • BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
  • Health Professions Council Registration
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Ability to teach and mentor more junior staff and new members of staff
  • Keep all records up to date in a clear, accurate and concise manner on a day-to-day basis

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of an efficient and effective radiology service
  • Work collaboratively as part of a professional radiography team to provide a high-quality diagnostic imaging service across X-ray, theatre imaging, and MRI coordination
  • Act as a Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS), ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Maintain a sensitive, compassionate, and courteous approach when dealing with patients
  • Continuously develop professional knowledge and skills through ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
