Job Description

Role: Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Location: Central London

Full time: 37.5hrs

Our client, a leading private healthcare provider based in Central London is looking for an experienced Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist.

The successful candidate will be experienced in acute care and rehabilitation within a hospital setting.

Within the role, you will manage your own caseload independently, providing best-practice assessments and treatment plans while also supervising junior members of the team. There will be the opportunity to work closely with the Lead OT on projects and contribute to the development of the department. The work will encompass a diverse range of inpatient care, including PICU, cardiac cases, and NICU when appropriate, as well as outpatient services such as neuro rehab, autism, sensory processing, developmental delays, learning difficulties, and seating assessments.

The post offers continuous learning opportunities, including formal and informal CPD programs, to support your professional development.

Requirements

  • HCPC registered
  • Relevant Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience as Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working in a hospital environment and inpatients
  • Experience in service development
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and work as an MDT
