About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join its team within an exceptional private hospital rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC. The successful candidate will work within one of the most advanced private cancer facilities in Europe with cutting-edge technology and a multidisciplinary team of expert clinicians.
As a Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their breast cancer journey. You will offer an evidence-based, person-centred approach providing specialist nursing advice, emotional support, and education to help patients make informed decisions about their care. Working closely with patients, families, physicians, and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will ensure continuity of care and an exceptional patient experience.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Considerable post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting within breast cancer care
- Master’s degree (or working towards) in a relevant field, or equivalent/higher postgraduate qualification
- Advanced communication and advocacy skills
- Advanced skills in the management of patients with early and advanced breast cancer, including the management of complex needs
- Advanced knowledge of breast cancer management and treatments
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
