New: Senior Associate – Family Appointment, South-West Region.

A leading Chambers-rated firm are now seeking a dynamic family practitioner to join them as a Senior Associate (5-10 PQE) within their Tier-1 family team based in Wiltshire.

The successful individual will add strength and depth to the team\’s respected finance and matrimonial work across the area and you will have some supervisory responsibility for fee earning and support staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Associate to join a heavyweight regional firm.

Extensive business development experience is a pre-requisite for this role.

A genuine appetite for business development is essential as this is a growth opportunity with excellent potential for fast-track career progression.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading on matrimonial and finance work within the regional area in line with the department business plan.
• Working with the Head of department and BU Manager to produce and implement a BD plan for the team aligned to the department business plan;
• Identifying & developing new business opportunities and maximising opportunities across the firm.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing the Finances team encouraging their ongoing professional development.
• Ensuring the team delivers exceptional client service.
• Ensuring that all working processes and practices comply with relevant quality and service standards.

Skills & Experience :

• Qualified solicitor with experience within a senior fee-earning position.
• Following and/or business plan for growth proposition in Divorce & finance work.
• Substantial previous experience within Family law with a specialism in dealing with matrimonial & finance work.
• Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service.
• Proven ability to win new business through networking and marketing activities.
• Ability to manage, mentor and supervise.
