Position Purpose: A Dedicated Sales role, tasked with attracting and onboarding institutional clients onto the StoneX Prime platform. Partnering with trading, product development and the support teams, the Salesperson will be responsible for expanding StoneX’s Hedge Fund client base, as well as increasing balances and trade flows of existing clients. The Salesperson will quickly gain a solid understanding of the wider StoneX product offering and actively engage in cross-selling efforts across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing: Promote the StoneX Prime Brand within the region through client engagement, industry events and associated networks. Develop improved iterations of StoneX’s marketing materials to showcase the current offering and new products as they are launched. Develop market intelligence on product pricing to benchmark against the StoneX offering.
  • Revenue Generation: Ideally have an existing and translatable roster of appropriate clients that can migrate to StoneX and bring expected annualised net revenues. Utilise StoneX and 3rd party hedge fund data to profile key target client types and opportunities – in order to quickly build a pipeline of prospects, onboard and clients that contribute core segment revenue to the prime platform. Work with the head of sales to build multiyear revenue objectives for the business. Understand the costs and returns associated with each product to drive sales focus. Manage, develop, and enhance existing client relationships of the firm through periodic commercial reviews to increase client balances, trade activity & enhance revenue opportunities. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition of new clients onto the StoneX Platform. Liaise with Capital Introductions team and EMEA clients to help clients raise assets. Coordinate discussions between trading, product and support functions to ensure multi-asset solutions are fit for purpose. Cross-sell broader StoneX capabilities. Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders to drive greater referral opportunities into the prime platform. Understand the local regulatory framework and the impact it has on both clients and StoneX to offer services and how this changes with further developments. Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Mathematics preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in a relevant financial services sales role.
  • Demonstrated interest in Financial markets & macroeconomic drivers.
  • A track record of contributing towards revenue generation.
  • An established network of institutional clients, and associated service providers.
  • Understanding of the current regulatory environment, geo-political & economic drivers and the impacts of regulatory & economic change on this business and its client base.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as customer service skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skillset, able to display sound judgement and commercial mindset.
  • Excellent organisation and multitasking skills.
  • Desire to work as part of a broader global team across disparate geographies.
  • Autonomous self-starter, able to work under own initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible to work foreign market hours when necessary.
  • Must be authorised to work in the US & London for any employer.
  • Always maintaining the highest level of integrity.
