Job purpose:
We are seeking a senior Equity Sales professional with extensive experience across US and/or Global Equities to help build and scale our global distribution efforts. This individual will distribute and monetize US research, corporate access and ECM to UK/European institutional investors, while contributing to the broader StoneX platform. The role is suited to an independent, commercially minded individual who thrives in a competitive yet highly collaborative environment, enjoys building a business, and brings a strong account list across the long-only & hedge fund community.
Responsibilities
- Client Coverage & Relationship Development: Bring a portable book of institutional long-only and hedge fund relationships, driving sustained engagement across research, corporate access and capital markets activity. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial skillset, and deep knowledge of the investor landscape to be able to develop new relationships. This can extend from cold calling, to collaborating with StoneX colleagues and the firm’s existing client base.
- Research Distribution & Monetization: Distribute and monetize high-conviction US equity research and market insights to institutional investors. Provide timely market colour, idea generation, and feedback to US-based research analysts and other key stakeholders.
- Corporate Access: Leverage virtual and in-person Corporate Access opportunities, coordinate meetings, non-deal roadshows, conferences, and field trips for US-listed corporates engaging with UK and European investors.
- ECM: Actively support ECM transaction marketing, including IPOs, follow-ons, and cross-border equity raises, in close partnership with the US Capital Markets teams.
- Platform Cross-Selling: Play a central role in cross-selling the broader StoneX platform, including macro, strategy, prime brokerage, and commodities research, leveraging existing and new relationships.
Qualifications
To land this role you will need:
- Demonstrated success building and monetizing relationships within the UK and/or European institutional investor community (long-only and hedge funds).
- Strong understanding of the MiFID regulatory landscape, with a proven ability to navigate cross-border compliance requirements.
- Highly organized and collaborative by nature, able to work seamlessly across Research, Corporate Access, ECM, Trading, and across products while remaining accountable.
- Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) qualifications Financial Regulations and Securities.
