Position Purpose: StoneX is looking for a high performing Head of Product, Websites to lead and elevate our global online presence. This pivotal role encompasses strategic oversight of our global sites (UK, EU, APAC, Middle East, North America, LATAM), product features, and their alignment with business demands. The Head of Websites will provide direct leadership and mentorship to a team of product managers, taking complete ownership of the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance.
This is a key role within the Global Marketing team, representing the company vision through daily product execution. While the core accountability is with managing the current and future CMS / Website product roadmap, the remit extends into other digital capabilities: delivering and scaling ecommerce capabilities, Mobile app integrations, external APIs, data integration to support personalised digital experiences, marketing services automation, and much more.
Primary duties will include:
- Rebuilding our multi-lingual websites on a new CMS
- Regional rollout of branding changes
- Design and implementation of a global ecommerce capability, including platform selection (e.g. Shopify or equivalent)
- Product strategy and roadmap
- Work with business and technology stakeholders to define a roadmap of product initiatives and enhancements, creating a clear roadmap that meets business goals, including ecommerce/transactional capability, conversion performance and monetization outcomes
- Communicate the roadmap and work with Product Managers on the execution approach
- Be the leading voice on digital best practices, latest marketing technology solutions, and ecommerce platform capabilities/architecture (e.g. Shopify/headless commerce), ensuring scalable, compliant implementation
- Work closely with Product Managers and development teams to prioritize and deliver additional website functionalities
- Drive initiatives to enhance website functionality, such as rebuilding multi-lingual sites, regional branding rollouts, marketing technology integrations, and delivery/optimization of ecommerce functionality (platform integration, checkout/payment enablement, analytics, and CRO)
- Closely work with development teams to guide decision on proposed technical solutions, keeping in mind both client impact and internal operational impact
- Contribute to documentation, guidelines, technical specification and deliver training when required
- Create solutions which meet the legal and compliance requirements towards a Financial Services provider
Team leadership and management:
- Offer strong leadership to the product team, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative environment
- Mentor and develop product managers, providing guidance on best practices observing their professional growth
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative thinking and constructive feedback among team members
- Lead by example, demonstrating effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Collaborate closely with the UI and UX team to ensure the creation of intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that align with product goals, including high-performing conversion and checkout journeys
- Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships, facilitating seamless coordination between product, design, development, and other teams to achieve shared objectives
MarTech & Personalization:
- Collaborate with the Head of Digital Experience to transition to a new Personalization & CRO tool that would support rapid testing of hypotheses across our sites
- Work closely with the Data Analytics team on the CDP integration that would support advanced website personalization
- Liaise with business stakeholders, external partners and development teams to drive automation initiatives: content reusage across website and CVM journeys, creative assets storage and maintenance etc.
Qualifications:
To land this role you will need:
- Extensive experience managing products from start to finish for at least 5 years
- Experience integrating and operating ecommerce platforms such as Shopify / Shopify Plus (or equivalent headless solutions), including platform selection, implementation and optimization
- Proven success in leading high performing teams and coaching Product Owners/Managers of different experience levels
- Proven success in working with different stakeholders groups and balancing between short term and long term business goals
- Strong ability to plan and achieve clear product goals, showing a history of successful results
- Good at analyzing data and making smart business decisions to prioritize effectively
- Skilled in using Content Management systems, especially familiar with Sitecore, AEM, Contentful, Kontent.ai or similar
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- A low-ego and open-minded driver of business who cares deeply about their people.
