The Global Events programme is a critical component of StoneX Group Inc.’s overall branding and marketing strategy. Reporting to the Senior Marketing & Events Manager, the EMEA Events Specialist – Third‑Party Events is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing StoneX’s participation in external industry events, conferences, and tradeshows across the EMEA region. This role focuses exclusively on third‑party event strategy and execution, ensuring StoneX maximises visibility, lead generation, and ROI from sponsored and attended events.
General Duties
- Develop and implement promotional plans and timelines specifically for third‑party events across EMEA.
- Coordinate all aspects of StoneX’s participation in external events, including sponsorship deliverables, booth logistics, speaking opportunities, and onsite branding.
- Serve as the primary liaison with third‑party event and tradeshow organisers to ensure all contractual obligations and deliverables are met on time.
- Oversee the building and testing of CVENT registration or event‑related pages when required for third‑party event participation.
- Lead all lead‑capture initiatives for third‑party events, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and follow‑up workflows.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver timely and accurate lead reporting for EMEA events.
- Manage post‑event communication strategies to maximise engagement, nurture leads, and support ROI measurement.
- Work with internal and external teams to develop and maintain event branding for third‑party events, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Manage internal review processes for all event marketing deliverables, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Oversee final proofing and compliance approval for all third‑party event assets.
- Ensure strict adherence to corporate branding standards across all external event touchpoints.
- Coordinate the launch of promotional activities supporting third‑party events across channels including social media, email marketing, and website content.
- Align marketing efforts across EMEA departments to ensure cohesive messaging and event positioning.
- Collaborate with vendors to fulfil marketing and event‑related needs.
- Ensure all agreed processes and workflows related to third‑party events are followed within the EMEA events function.
- Act as a key intermediary between marketing, business stakeholders, and event organisers to ensure seamless execution.
- Support onsite event delivery, including domestic and international travel for larger third-party events and when there is a business need.
- Support broader marketing and company-hosted event initiatives as assigned by the manager.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of third‑party event processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in event planning.
- Experience with WebEx, On24, Dynamics/Salesforce, and Cvent.
- Knowledge of financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- Additional Marketing-related qualifications beneficial but not required.
- Excellent marketing and project management skills as evidenced by previous job experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in interpersonal communications and working well within a team.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong problem solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
