Responsibilities
Position Purpose: The Account Manager plays a key role in driving client engagement, onboarding quality, revenue contribution, and conversion across the UK. This role manages a portfolio of incoming leads and active clients, ensuring they receive high quality service from first contact through trading activation and handover to longer term relationship teams. You will balance commercial performance with exceptional client experience, helping sustain the UK position as a top performing region. This includes delivering high contact volumes, identifying high value clients early in the funnel, supporting complex onboarding cases, and collaborating with cross functional teams such as AML, Operations, and Product.
- Client Management & Sales Execution
- Manage inbound applications and lead pipelines, delivering timely follow ups to maximise conversion & contact rate.
- Guide clients from initial enquiry to live trading, including platform walkthroughs, product explanations, and onboarding support.
- Maintain exceptional communication standards across email and phone, consistent with UK team benchmarks.
- Identify and escalate high value or complex prospects requiring enhanced onboarding.
- Operational Excellence
- Handle onboarding requirements end to end, ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance checkpoints.
- Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) records and contribute to the region’s high data quality standards.
- Support follow up volume requirements to sustain or exceed team engagement KPIs.
- Business Impact & Cross Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with AML, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to improve conversion, retention, and client experience.
- Proactively flag market changes or client sentiment insights that influence acquisition and retention metrics.
- Team Contribution
- Mentor junior team members where required, contributing to continuous improvement and internal knowledge-sharing.
- Uphold team culture around excellence, communication standards, and operational discipline.
Qualifications
To land this role you will need:
- Experience in retail trading, FX/CFD, or financial services sales preferred.
- Strong communication skills across phone, email, and digital messaging platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple clients concurrently without compromising quality.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce/ Microsoft Dynamics).
- High attention to detail, especially in KYC/AML-sensitive workflows.
- Proactive attitude, ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
