Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Processing of deliveries, settlements & option expiries for LME, ICE, EURONEXT, COMEX, NYMEX, CBOT, EEX, SGX, CME, EUREX.

  • Follow and understand all internal procedures & comply with general FCA principles of business.
  • Monitor upcoming cash settlements and option expiries static to ensure the automation process is in order to be processed on the correct day.
  • Liaising with the front office to ensure positions are agreed for delivery.
  • Checking top day offsets so that position maintenance requirements of the Clearing Houses are met for physical delivery products.
  • Intraday monitoring of positions in delivery period or approaching expiry.

Qualifications

To Land this role you will need:

  • 0-1 years experience in operations with good knowledge of Clearing House requirements desirable but not mandatory.
  • Trade flow knowledge from execution to settlement.
  • Some understanding of derivatives, including futures and options, as well as their associated lifecycle events.
  • Working knowledge of the below systems would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided: Ion XTP, LME Smart, LME Mercury, ICE SDP, ICE ECS, Eurex & ECC C7, XTP, Euronext.
