Position Purpose:

This role offers a unique opportunity to support the continuing development of the multi-product precious metals business and will offer the opportunity to learn about and assist with the daily Precious Metals Trading & Operations teams within StoneX.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

  • Processing trade settlements – Precious Metals – Physical / Unallocated
  • Physical inventory management
  • Daily reconciliations of external physical depositories
  • Reconciliation of exchange traded futures statements from brokers
  • Daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem solving and resolution of position / P&L discrepancies
  • Margin Calls to Clients, intercompany & trading counterparts
  • Managing trade confirmations with market counterparts
  • Daily & monthly reconciliations of external nostros / physical depositories
  • Monitoring daily cash / metal flows and managing funding requirements
  • Intra-day trade / cash flow reconciliations
  • Internal system reconciliations
  • Confirming settlement figures with clients & trading counterparts
  • Follow and understand all internal procedures & comply with general FCA principles of business
  • Implementing a nightly rec across all Loco London transactions for next day
  • Coordination of client and internal orders across gold, silver and pgm benchmarks
  • Payment and allocation of Invoicing
  • Confirming physical swap trade figures with counterparts
  • Quote & Premium requests
  • Helping with the day-to-day workflow management of physical trading platform
  • Also helping with future development / testing
  • Liaising with the FO / BO Precious Metals team globally
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Clients, Suppliers, and Carriers

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Degree level or equivalent education (preferred)
  • Understanding of trade flows & treasury management
  • Interest in finance and a willingness to learn
  • Good work ethic and ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Effective planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
