A tier 1 UAE-based investment manager is looking for a HR & People Manager. The firm manages significant AUM and invests in VC, private equity and private credit strategies.
You will work alongside an experienced team and hold a broad range of responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management and organisational initiatives. This role will suit someone with 2-5 years of HR experience, who has previously worked in fast paced environments (start ups, investment management etc).
Role overview- Develop a recruitment strategy and manage the recruitment of new employees for the purpose of attracting high-calibre candidates, including JD development, candidate search, and interviewing (experience in recruitment is helpful but not essential, as you will be project managing the recruitment drive).
- Develop and run the employee performance management framework, ensuring alignment of people performance to business performance and addressing development needs.
- Administer and process employee payroll and benefits (e.g., salaries, leaves, bonuses, termination and settlement), in coordination with Finance, ensuring timely processing. This will include managing multiple payroll systems.
- Revise and update organizational structure in line with updates in strategy and management directions, as required.
- Manage HR-related services including but not limited to issuance of health insurance and government documents ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Help develop the firm's culture and take the lead on deriving the culture, employee programs, internal events, and recognition (working with the wider team).
- Develop and manage the implementation of training and development programs in coordination with the related functions.
- Develop HR-related reports for evaluation and decision-making purposes.
- Assist in firm wide operations activity (organising, managing, reporting, tracking).
- Data management and assisting the People team in making data based decisions.
- 2-5 yearsβ experience in HR.
- B.A or B.S degree from a recognized educational institution with excellent academic credentials.
- Familiar and able to manage HR related software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills - fluency in English is a must.
- Strong project management skills.
- Attention to details, team player, ambitious, self-driven, results-oriented, and sharp time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with large number of stakeholders.
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
Please note: this role is based in UAE, with a preference for Dubai (relocation support will be provided for overseas candidates).
