Our team works on landmark projects, including historic and listed buildings, across the UK and globally, with additional offices in Hong Kong, the Middle East, and Macau. This is a full-time, on-site position based in London for experienced Conservators & Mosaic Specialists. The primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting conservation and restoration work on historic and listed buildings.
- Inspecting the condition of stonework and mosaics.
- Performing detailed repairs and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Collaborating with teams to deliver projects on time and in line with industry standards.
- Liaising with clients, project managers, and other contractors to ensure a seamless project flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in masonry restoration, conservation techniques, and mosaic preservation.
- Competency in using specialist tools and materials for stone and mosaic restoration.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an ability to work with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of historical preservation principles and best practices.
- Relevant certifications or training in conservation, restoration, or masonry work.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaborations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and adhere to project deadlines.
- Willingness to work on-site in London and, if required, travel to project locations.
