THE ROLE : We are looking for a motivated and qualified professional with knowledge of building conservation, building pathology, and traditional forms of construction, with experience of undertaking and delivering detailed building/structures condition assessments and schedules of work. The candidate must be ready to step into a hands-on, autonomous role with support from the senior leadership team.
LOCATIONS : London, Northwest & Southeast.
QUALIFICATIONS : Degree in Construction related subject. Post graduate qualification in Building Conservation.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED : Knowledge of building conservation and building pathology. Knowledge and understanding in the use of building lime(s) and traditional building materials and applications, traditional forms of construction and maintenance.
TRAVEL : Must have a UK driving licence and ability to travel to jobs outside London if required. Public transport is encouraged where possible.
PURPOSE : To support the Business Development & Technical Director in procuring, managing and delivering company consultancy work and building surveying services.
MEMBERSHIPS : You will be encouraged to become a member of Heritage Bodies: Historic England, ICOMOS, SPAB.
