Here at Stonewater, we are seeking a Lettings Manager to provide a vision for a modern and customer-centred lettings service which will enable us to drive focused service improvements and deliver innovative solutions to reduce rent loss and void letting times.
Known internally as Performance Delivery Manager Lettings, you will work as strategic liaison with Local Authority stakeholders to position Stonewater as a partner of choice. You will promote Stonewater as a thought-leader in operational delivery to external networks and key Local Authority stakeholders, developing strong, collaborative and proactive working relationships, to achieve and maintain shared goals of allocating homes.
Managing and developing your team, you will ensure day to day services are delivered, individual and team performance and productivity targets met, whilst continually looking to improve services for the future. Working in partnership with the Homes Team and repairs contractors you will ensure a full oversight of performance, playing a key role in contract management meetings to ensure the delivery and development of consistent, efficient void repair services.
Placing the customer at the heart of service design, you will deliver a high level of customer experience, working with innovative technologies and implementing solutions that meet a range of customer needs.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a subject matter expert with significant track record of developing and delivering sector leading services that put customer at the heart.
- Have working knowledge of housing law, performance standards and performance indicators.
- Have management experience gained within a customer focused environment, delivering an excellent service to internal and external customers, using a geographically dispersed team.
- Have experience in delivering a high level of customer experience.
- Have the ability to inspire, motivate and develop employees and teams along with experience in setting and communicating clear objectives to ensure Team goals are achieved.
- Have strong stakeholder management experience and ability to build collaborative working partnerships with local authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Be a confident, independent and proactive manager able to shape and streamline business processes to reflect best practice, regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a practical and logical thinker, overcoming problems/issues to meet deadlines.
- Have good IT, numeracy and literacy skills including statistical and performance information analysis and report writing.
