At Stonewater, we’re embarking on a major transformation in how we manage, use, and think about data. As our new Data Modeller, you’ll take a lead role in this journey, designing, implementing, and maintaining the data models that underpin our strategic decision-making and day-to-day performance.
You’ll not only bring technical expertise in data architecture and modelling, but you will also help drive a cultural shift across the business, embedding data and insight at the heart of everything we do.
What you’ll bring
* A Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Data Modeller or in a similar role.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques, including normalization and denormalization.
* Clear communication for complex data challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
* Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating complex data sets.
* Ability to analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
* Solid understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, lineage, and compliance.
* Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration.
* Knowledge of data governance and data quality framework.
Appointment to this role will be subject to satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
