We are currently recruiting for MIG/TIG Welders to join an established engineering and manufacturing business. This is a great opportunity for both entry-level welders looking to develop their skills and experienced welders looking for a long-term position within a well-established company.
The Role
As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating components to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets the required quality standards. Your duties will include:
- MIG and/or TIG welding of components
- Fabrication and assembly of metalwork
- Working from engineering drawings
- Tack welding and preparation of components
- Checking finished work to ensure it meets quality requirements
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working both independently and as part of a team
About You
We are interested in hearing from candidates with a background in MIG or TIG welding and fabrication. Entry-level candidates with basic welding experience will also be considered, with training and development available for the right person. Ideally, you will have:
- MIG welding experience
- TIG welding experience is advantageous
- Previous fabrication/manufacturing experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
