Stonetech Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join a well-established and successful engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to contribute to a dynamic and quality-focused team. The Role: As a Manual/Conventional Machinist, you will be responsible for completing a diverse range of machining tasks with precision and efficiency. Your key duties will include: * Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings. * Operating and managing a variety of manual machinery, including: * Manual turning and milling. * Centre lathes. * Vertical and horizontal borers. * Conducting general mechanical engineering assembly tasks. * Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and conducting thorough quality checks before final inspection and dispatch. The Candidate: To be successful in this role, you should possess: * Extensive experience as a manual machinist, with proficiency in multiple machining disciplines. * A time-served background or a recognised apprenticeship/qualification in machining or mechanical engineering. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work of the highest quality. * The ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and project requirements.
