Stonetech Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / Welder Fabricator/ CNC Machinist to join a well-established specialist in architectural and bespoke metalwork based in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability, varied project work, and the chance to further develop their fabrication and machine operating skills.
Working in a busy workshop environment, you will be producing bespoke metalwork components across a range of sectors, using aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong fabrication experience and a good eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Fabrication and welding of aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
- Manufacturing bespoke architectural metalwork
- Setting and operating laser cutting machinery
- Operating turret punch and press brake machinery
- Water jet operation
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Previous experience as a Fabricator or Welder Fabricator
- Strong fabrication background across multiple materials
