An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a fast-growing and innovative construction business delivering major public sector projects across the UK. This is a site-focused role within modern construction environments, supporting projects across a variety of sectors. The position offers a strong mix of operational involvement, site interaction and long-term career development.

Reporting into the Head of Health & Safety, you will work closely with operational teams to drive a positive safety culture across live construction projects.

The Role

  • Conducting site inspections, audits and investigations
  • Supporting project teams with day-to-day H&S matters
  • Reviewing RAMS and safe systems of work
  • Coaching and advising operational teams
  • Supporting subcontractor management
  • Promoting a proactive and collaborative safety culture
  • Supporting continuous improvement across HSE processes

The role is primarily focused across London and the South East, with a typical working pattern of:

  • 3 days site/on the road
  • 1 day London office
  • 1 day home/admin

About You

Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience across construction. You will ideally have:

  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Site-based Construction H&S experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A practical and collaborative approach to safety
  • Confidence engaging with site teams and contractors
  • CSCS card or be willing to get one.

What’s On Offer

  • £45,000-£54,000 basic salary
  • £4,500 car allowance
