Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented RV Warranty Writer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and processing warranty claims for recreational vehicles, working closely with service technicians, manufacturers, and customers to ensure claims are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates well with multiple stakeholders, and has experience in service administration, warranty processing, or the RV/automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit RV warranty claims to manufacturers and suppliers.
- Ensure warranty documentation is accurate and meets manufacturer requirements.
- Work with service technicians and advisors to gather required information for claims.
- Track the status of submitted claims and follow up with manufacturers as needed.
- Maintain organized records of all warranty repairs and submissions.
- Communicate claim approvals, rejections, and required corrections to the service team.
- Assist in identifying warranty trends and potential claim issues.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
- Support the service department with administrative tasks when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warranty administration, service writing, or dealership service departments (RV, automotive, or marine preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
