Location: Hounslow (Full-time, On-site)

Stones Architects is a design led practice of a team of 7, seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to join our growing team. The successful candidate will lead and manage architectural projects from concept design through to completion, ensuring that all design solutions meet client expectations, technical standards and budget requirements. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing the work of Part 1 and Part 2 Architectural Assistants. The Project Architect will also play a key role in client liaison, stakeholder coordination and site management to ensure that design intent is fully realised during construction.

We offer an opportunity for professional growth and a starting salary of £40K+ based on experience. Please note - The job title will be dependent on applicant, we are open to a wide range of applications although you must be motivated and have a minimum qualification of either; RIBA Part 2 or UK architectural technologist qualification, alongside a minimum of 5 years UK based practical experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage architectural projects through all RIBA stages
  • Develop creative and technically robust design solutions that meet client requirements
  • Coordinate project execution and timelines
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external consultants
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Conduct site visits, client meetings and design reviews
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to resolve complex design details
  • Confidence in presenting and documenting design changes clearly and professionally
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural design
  • Proven experience in job running, delivering multiple projects simultaneously and on time
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks and working within a BIM environment will be highly advantageous
  • Thorough understanding of RIBA work stages, Planning Policies, UK Building Regulations and Health and Safety
  • Demonstrate an ability to adapt to diverse project requirements and client expectations
  • Ability to prepare clear production information and resolving complex details
  • An eye for detail and a strong technical skillset
