Stoneridge Consulting are searching for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their client's Leeds-based team. This is a senior, client-facing position within a well-established building consultancy, offering the opportunity to lead projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to the development of a growing team. The role suits a confident professional who enjoys taking ownership of instructions and delivering high-quality building consultancy services across a varied portfolio of projects.
The Role
- Delivering professional building surveying services, including condition surveys, defect investigations, and technical reporting
- Leading refurbishment, maintenance, and remedial works projects from initial instruction through to completion
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation
- Providing strategic advice on asset condition, compliance, and lifecycle planning
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key technical point of contact
- Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors, graduates, and APC candidates
The Opportunity
This role offers a high level of autonomy, with responsibility for managing your own projects and client relationships. You will be trusted to work independently while remaining part of a close-knit and collaborative team. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with an interest in contract administration across full project lifecycles.

- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
