Are you a confident and driven Credit Controller looking to join a growing business where you can truly make an impact? I’m currently partnering with a well-established and expanding organisation within the property sector to recruit a Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting operational efficiency.

The Opportunity

Working within the Finance and Debt Recovery team, you’ll collaborate closely with Property Management colleagues to ensure the smooth running of credit control processes. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and taking ownership of their ledger.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively chasing overdue payments via phone and email
  • Managing and monitoring the credit control inbox
  • Issuing copy invoices and debtor statements
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records on internal systems
  • Setting up new debtor accounts
  • Liaising with internal teams to resolve missing information (e.g. purchase orders, contact details)
  • Supporting debtor review meetings with the Property Management team
  • Assisting with the implementation of a new credit control system

About You

  • Previous experience in a credit control role
  • Confident communicator with strong telephone skills
  • Highly organised with effective time management
  • Comfortable working with internal systems and general IT tools
  • A proactive team player who can adapt to a changing environment
  • Professional, resilient, and able to build strong working relationships
