We’re working with a highly regarded global property consultancy that is looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its established and growing Projects & Building Consultancy team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor who enjoys client-facing work, leading instructions from inception through to completion, alongside core professional surveying services, including party wall matters and dilapidations.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a well-resourced team, working closely with investor and occupier clients, including international corporate occupiers and major national and global investment funds. The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial property types across Manchester, with particular involvement in:

  • Contract Administration
  • Dilapidations
  • Party Wall Reports
  • Project running, inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a wide range of professional and project-based Building Surveying instructions, with autonomy and minimal supervision
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing instructions and project teams to ensure high-quality, timely, and commercially successful delivery
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with internal processes and quality standards

About You

  • MRICS qualified
  • Solid understanding of both professional and project-led Building Surveying services
  • Confident communicator with a professional, client-facing approach
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple instructions effectively
