This is a part-time, on-site Parts Advisor role based at our dealership in Rainham, Medway. The Parts Advisor will assist customers and workshop teams in identifying and supplying the correct parts and accessories, both over the counter and via phone or email. Responsibilities include:

  • Checking stock availability
  • Ordering parts
  • Managing inventory records
  • Ensuring accurate pricing and invoicing in line with dealer management procedures

The Parts Advisor will work closely with service and sales departments to support efficient vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Key skills required:

  • Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on delivering a positive experience in a retail or automotive environment
  • Experience with Dealer Management systems or similar automotive retail software, and basic familiarity with parts catalogues
  • Inventory Control skills, including stock checking, recording, and organizing parts to support workshop efficiency
  • General automotive knowledge or previous experience in a parts, service, or dealership role is beneficial
  • Proficiency in email, Excel, point-of-sale systems, and strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn brand-specific product ranges and follow company policies and safety procedures
