Stonemont Partners are exclusively supporting a PE backed business as they work to integrate a major new acquisition into the group. POST: Project Accountant (Fixed Term Contract – 6months) DAY RATE: Up to £600 per day REPORTING TO: CFO LOCATION : London (5days per week – 4 days in the office) ___________________________________________________________________________ DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Detailed cost control and cost base analysis to identify savings and efficiency opportunities. Following and reporting against synergy challenges already actioned. Nominal level review on monthly basis to ensure delivery has been achieved and evidence backed up. 2. Supporting existing team with process alignment and integration into wider Lomond Finance function. Currently going through period of restructuring and change. Team requires day-to-day hands-on support to ensure quality of work aligned with Group business. 3. Additional cost-saving opportunities. Work with team and CFO to review and highlight further cost-saving initiatives and opportunities. Review commercial contracts where relevant to ensure robust controls are in place to stop unnecessary renewal and recurring spending. Build ongoing framework to track progress and maintain expiration dates etc. 4. M&A. Support post-acquisition finance integration, including finance systems, processes, and reporting alignment. 5. Involvement in Ad hoc Project work and tasks that could be Group or Regionally related. 6. Perform any other duties which from time to time may be required to ensure the smooth running of the group. ___________________________________________________________________________ ADDITIONAL DUTIES 1.
