A pioneering flexible work space business is looking for a Finance Manager to join their thriving team - this is primarily an office based role 4 days a week. Reporting into the UK Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will play a key role in fulfilling the accounting operations within the finance department and will assist with special projects across the UK as required. The ability to create and adhere to scalable processes with strong controls and juggle multiple priorities is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting for the UK Group (20 trading companies)
- Support and develop 3 Management Accountants
- Support the UK Accounts Payable team with invoice and credit memo processing, payments and accruals
- Support with sales invoice processing, revenue reconciliations, bad debt provisions and customer service management
- Overseeing the fixed assets management and attending the year end stock take
- Manage month end deliverables to ensure timely reporting into Newmark US
- Manage month end for the team, ensuring that journals are reviewed and accurate ahead of posting
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and adhere to tight deadlines to ensure completeness, in-line with US parent timetable
- Preparation of month end reporting pack with detailed commentary
- Assist with Business Rates processing
