About The Role
This is a technical sales role based at our Doncaster premises, involving a mix of proactive sales activity, customer communication and regular travel across the UK. You will be responsible for identifying and approaching new customers, following up enquiries, and developing relationships with existing clients by exploring opportunities to support their ongoing and future needs. The role includes a range of tasks such as sales emails, outbound phone calls, occasional site visits, product demonstrations and supporting marketing communication including follow-up messages and customer updates. You’ll need to be self-sufficient, organised and confident managing your own workload. As part of a small team, this is a hands-on and varied role where your ability to work independently and professionally will be key. Full product training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach new business opportunities across relevant sectors
- Follow up on incoming enquiries and build long-term relationships with customers
- Arrange and attend meetings or site visits to provide product demonstrations and technical advice
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers and introduce them to suitable products or solutions
- Support customer needs both remotely and in person
- Maintain accurate records using HubSpot CRM
- Provide feedback on sales materials and customer requirements
Key Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales, ideally in construction, coatings, restoration, or similar industries
- A practical understanding of how to support trade customers with product use
- Confident, professional communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required across the UK
- Experience in stone effect coatings, architectural paints, or decorative finishes
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM systems
- Background in heritage restoration, shopfitting, or event/display installation
Working Hours
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a total of 35 paid hours per week. The working day includes a 15-minute morning break and a 45-minute lunch break. Occasional flexibility may be required for early starts or travel to customer sites.
