We are currently partnering with a Local Authority on the South Coast to recruit a Housing Standards Officer on a 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy Private Sector Housing team delivering HMO licensing, housing standards and enforcement functions.

- Investigating Housing Complaints

- Working with Landlords & Tenants
- Supporting Tribunal & Court Proceedings
Requirements
- Previous Private Sector Housing, Housing Standards or Environmental Health experience
- Strong knowledge of HMO Licensing
- Strong working knowledge of HHSRS and Housing Act 2004
- Experience carrying out inspections and enforcement activity
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
