I am currently working with a Local Authority in Hampshire who are seeking to appoint an Interim Head of Private Sector Housing on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
About The Role
This is a key leadership role supporting the development and transformation of a Private Sector Housing service during a period of change. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of officers, providing direction, support, and motivation while ensuring the effective delivery of housing enforcement and regulatory functions. The role will involve driving improvements to service delivery, embedding a more proactive approach to enforcement, and supporting the implementation of new and evolving housing requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a Private Sector Housing team, including senior staff
- Promoting a positive and motivated team culture
