About Stonehouse Brewery
Stonehouse Brewery is an independent brewery, distillery and brewery tap based in rural Shropshire. We supply pubs, bars, restaurants and hospitality venues across the region and are looking for a Trade Sales Representative to help grow profitable sales and develop new business opportunities.
The Role
This is a proactive sales and business development role focused on growing profitable trade sales across our beer and spirit portfolio. You will be responsible for winning new business, reactivating dormant accounts, developing existing customers and identifying opportunities to grow sales throughout your territory. The role combines customer visits with office-based sales activity, including a dedicated telesales, CRM and prospecting day each week. We are looking for somebody who is equally comfortable building relationships in a traditional village pub, a busy town-centre venue or a modern craft beer bar. This is not an order‑taking position. We are looking for somebody who enjoys finding opportunities, opening new accounts, building long‑term customer relationships and helping customers grow sales of Stonehouse products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, visit notes and sales pipeline activity using BrewMan.
- Conduct a dedicated programme of telesales and customer visit activity each week.
- Represent Stonehouse Brewery at trade events, festivals, tastings and customer functions.
- Work closely with the management team to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in field sales, account management or business development.
- Confident using CRM systems and sales administration tools.
- Commercially aware and focused on profitable growth.
- Equally comfortable in a traditional village pub and a modern craft beer venue.
- Passionate about beer, hospitality and supporting independent businesses.
- In possession of a full UK driving licence.
Experience within the brewing, drinks or hospitality sector would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate.
What We Offer
- Vehicle allowance/business mileage reimbursement.
- 25% staff discount for our products and in our bar/restaurant.
- Additional annual leave entitlement for long service (up to five extra days).
- Opportunity to join an ambitious independent brewery with a strong reputation and exciting plans for growth.
