OVERALL PURPOSE The Client Relationship Manager, Director, within the UK Family Office team at Corient EMEA is part of the senior leadership group and reports to the Head of Family Office UK. The role involves ultimate responsibility for day-to-day client matters, strategic oversight, and team development. The successful candidate will manage complex client relationships, lead business development initiatives, and contribute to the strategic direction of the UK Family Office team. PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and their advisers across all forms of communication.• Lead client meetings and coordinate strategic matters, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. Partner involvement is limited.• Consult with third-party professionals to support client needs and maintain a strong network of professional contacts. • Ensure timely and accurate execution of all client-related transactions.• Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments to manage client affairs effectively.• Mentor and manage junior team members, conduct appraisals, and oversee career progression as well as taking online management responsibilities within the team• Maintain personal business development targets and generate leads for potential future clients.• Lead business development efforts, attend pitches, oversee proposals, and generate new client leads.• Build a global presence and personal brand within the Group, contributing to thought leadership through articles and speaking engagements.• Act as an ambassador for Corient EMEA, collaborating with Montfort and marketing teams.• Involved in setting team strategy and targets, ensuring alignment with broader UK Family Office goals.• Has a unique selling point and become a subject matter expert in a chosen field to support Group-wide initiatives. Share expertise and provide technical assistance to team members, in areas where they are identified as a subject matter expert. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERINCE • Experience in the trust and company industry• Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience in the Financial Services industry.• Relevant professional qualification (ACA, CTA, Qualified Lawyer).• Strong technical understanding and application of fiduciary relationships.• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.• Excellent analytical and numeracy skills with strong commercial awareness.• Solid administration skills within a high-net-worth environment.• Practical experience and understanding of financial accounts and investment performance.• Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to engage clients and lead meetings.• Experience in managing teams, mentoring, and conducting appraisals.
