This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the future growth of Stonegate Farmers.
As Farm Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging and onboarding new contract farms across all egg production systems, ensuring the business has a sustainable and secure supply base to meet current and future customer demand.
Working closely with prospective producers, you'll build strong relationships, assess opportunities and guide farmers through the onboarding process, helping to develop a robust and resilient supply network for the future.
This is a highly visible, field-based role involving extensive travel across the UK and regular engagement with farmers, industry stakeholders and internal teams.

What you’ll be doing
- Identify, engage and recruit new contract farms in line with Stonegate Farmers' long-term demand and supply plans.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective producers across the UK.
- Represent Stonegate Farmers at agricultural shows, trade events and producer meetings.
- Build trusted relationships with prospective farming partners and industry stakeholders.
- Support prospective producers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Provide guidance on egg production systems, bird performance, breed characteristics and farm development opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms, including initial egg pricing and recruitment incentives.
- Produce regular reports and pipeline updates using Salesforce CRM.
- Develop and enhance recruitment materials, presentations and farmer engagement strategies.
- Work closely with the Egg Supply and Farms Liaison teams to support business growth objectives.
About You

Essential Experience & Knowledge
- Previous experience in a farm liaison, producer engagement, agricultural business development or farm recruitment role.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to balance producer needs with business objectives.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Preferred Experience & Knowledge
- Knowledge of the UK egg production sector or wider poultry industry.
- Experience within the food production, food manufacturing or wider food industry sector.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
- Experience attending agricultural events, trade shows or producer engagement activities.
