As we expand our infrastructure to meet growing demand, we are looking for a skilled Construction Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee and manage delivery of construction and development projects across a £30m portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of both Residential and Industrial buildings (new build, extensions, and fit-outs) and associated groundworks and civil infrastructure.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer construction contracts from pre-construction through to completion.
- Oversee appointed contractors to ensure projects are delivered in line with both programme and budget.
- Produce and manage procurement schedules in line with project programme.
- Management of sub-contract payments, including negotiation of subcontract variations.
- Monitor construction progress through regular site visits and progress meetings.
- Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and contract records.
- Provide accurate cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Identify and resolve any contractual or project-related disputes.
- Support sustainability and innovation initiatives across developments.

Qualifications / Experience:

- Strong understanding of construction law, contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC), and project lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with agricultural or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
