This is a part‑time role, 15 hours a week over 5 days, on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. As Office Coordinator, you will deliver an outstanding front‑of‑house service and provide a wide range of administrative support to the Luton Hub and the wider business. You will welcome visitors and employees with a warm, positive demeanour, handle safety registration and act as the first point of call for any Luton Hub related queries. You will also uphold an efficient reception area and utilise excellent administration skills to support the smooth operation of the Luton Hub and other office facilities.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and distribution of incoming post
- Overseeing the overall operation of the building, including general facilities, catering and refreshments, cleaning standards and stationery supplies
- Supporting hub facilities by answering user queries and replenishing stationery and refreshment supplies
- Fielding and responding to general website enquiries
- Administration and communication of tenancy changes to local councils
- Fulfilling a Fire Warden and First Aid role in line with legal requirements
- Other ad‑hoc administration duties as required
Qualifications
- You thrive in a busy and active environment and can multitask effectively
- You have proven experience working in a reception environment
- You are a people‑person and are passionate about providing excellent customer service
- You have proven experience in an administrative role and can prioritise a heavy and varied workload while working at pace
- You are proficient in letter writing and have exceptional attention to detail
- You love being part of a team and have great communication skills
