Kitchen Porter
At Slug & Lettuce, we are looking for a Kitchen Porter to assist our kitchen team. No experience is required – we will provide all necessary training.
Main Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a great eye for detail to maintain high standards.
- Be organised and manage time effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and colleagues.
- General daily cleaning of surfaces and floors in the kitchen.
- Ensure all cleaning schedules are kept up to date and signed off when complete.
- Maintain the cleanliness of food storage areas.
- Wash dirty plates, cutlery and kitchen utensils.
- Remove kitchen waste from waste containers and dispose of it properly.
- Clean and maintain cooking equipment such as cookers and grills.
- Support the chef with basic food preparation such as peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables.
